Osasuna Calls 22 Players for Season Finale Against Getafe
The team will be back on the pitch on Friday for a closed-door session
Osasuna returned to training this morning in an open session at the Tajonar Sports Complex following yesterday’s 2-1 defeat to Atlético de Madrid. As is customary the day after a match, the squad was split into two groups. Players who logged the most minutes completed recovery work, while the rest of the squad also carried out compensatory training.
Osasuna Promesas goalkeeper Stamatakis and midfielder Bruno Pérez took part in the session. Forward Víctor Muñoz continued with his individual training program. Forward Raúl Moro was unable to train after being substituted in yesterday’s match due to muscle discomfort in the back of his right thigh.
The team will return to training on Friday in a closed-door session at El Sadar as preparations continue for Sunday’s home match against Espanyol. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. local time (8 p.m. BST, 1 p.m. ET). Osasuna will complete preparations on Saturday with an open training session at the Tajonar Sports Complex beginning at 11 a.m.
